Aegis is a high-end mercenary network frequently involved in repossession, security, combat operations, and sensitive corporate enforcement. It operates where formal law, private force, and corporate secrecy overlap. Aegis sells modular force: checkpoint teams, shipboard security, expedition protection, and larger combat units can be deployed under separate contracts while sharing intelligence and command infrastructure. Its reputation depends on appearing loyal to the paying client. Evidence that it secretly favors PANTHEA or the Ministry would threaten the commercial neutrality on which that reputation rests.
