Lore Entry
Known Galaxy: System Regions
A guide-level overview of how known systems are grouped and named, including core systems, reaches, legacy worlds, and terminal systems.
Naming Conventions
Colonized systems are generally named after their most populated or prominent world. Systems with no settled planets are often named after their stars. Unexplored terminal systems, meaning systems with no known return slipstream lane, are named TS-XXXXX, where XXXXX is a numerical identifier assigned by Fairhold. System names with no slipstream connection but reachable by Halberg drive in less than one standard year may still appear in navigation records.
