Soren Marsh
Soren Marsh is captain of the TrustUs! repo ship Narrow Margin and Torrence’s long-running nemesis. Marsh combines legitimate repo expertise with a willingness to accept assignments whose real terms remain unspoken. His rivalry with Torrence is personal, but it also reflects competing models of survival: Torrence relies on judgment and loyalty, while Marsh relies on positioning himself near whoever is likely to win. He is dangerous because he can present self-interest as ordinary professional procedure.
Spoilers
Marsh leads a small group of allied repo ships at Koschei to recover the Celestial Aura. Cal later infers that Marsh was likely offered an off-the-books bonus or hired to keep other repo crews away from the ship.
