Thor Jenssen
Jenssen is the foreman of the Aralx colony: a broad-shouldered, blond mechanic who keeps broken systems running, believes the colony deserves better, and is deeply invested in its survival. Jenssen’s weather-control project is an expression of the colony’s larger philosophy: hostile systems can be made livable through patient observation and precisely applied force. To outsiders, his plan to redirect storms with controlled fusion devices sounds mad. To Jenssen, it is merely engineering at the scale demanded by Aralx. His stubbornness inspires loyalty but also makes retreat almost unthinkable.
