Soraya Linnev begins investigating what happened at Irrakai and the fate of the Osharra.

Reinterprets the Osharran term to mean “purifying” AIs, not annihilating them. Disrupts xenoarchaeological consensus.

Interpreting the Timeline

The chronology is not merely a sequence of public milestones. Many events were understood differently by contemporaries than by later historians. The Laconia mission was initially treated as an archaeological curiosity, not the opening of an alien technological revolution. The Irrakai mission was presented as a partial failure despite yielding the discovery that eventually transformed all interstellar travel.
