Schiller Station

Schiller Station is an orbital service and transfer station in the Lucerne system. It supports freight traffic, independent ships, and crews traveling between Corvalis, Lucerne, Koschei, and nearby routes. Its economy is built around refueling, repairs, replacement parts, crew lodging, and short-term cargo handling. The station is smaller and less prestigious than Cheng Station, but it is important to ships operating near the edge of heavily monitored space. Repair yards handle aging freighters and repo vessels whose modifications or maintenance histories would receive closer scrutiny at major Core facilities. Salvaged equipment and reclaimed components are readily available through licensed dealers and less formal secondary markets. Schiller Station also serves as an information relay. Ships departing toward Koschei or returning from remote routes leave navigation reports, sensor data, and packet messages that are later carried toward more connected systems. The repo ship Miss Delaney stops there for repairs before diverting through the Koschei gate to investigate reports concerning the Celestial Aura.
