Jade Lariss

A formidable rival repo captain who commands the faster and more heavily armed Salamanca. Lariss’s ship and manner both project professional superiority. She prefers to arrive with greater acceleration, better weapons, and enough legal justification to make resistance look irrational. Unlike impulsive pirates, she is patient about using force because she expects the balance of capability to do most of the persuading for her. Her rivalry with Cal is therefore tactical rather than merely personal.
