General Vesh
General Vesh is a uniformed Osharré commander and hard realist who treats unfamiliar technology and outsiders as security risks. Vesh evaluates the humans first as possible weapons and only second as guests. His suspicion is reinforced whenever their technology behaves unpredictably or their explanations change. He embodies the position that survival may require decisive containment before certainty is available, placing him in uneasy parallel with the human leaders making similar calculations.
